Often called the Matterhorn of the Himalayas, Ama Dablam soars into the Nepalese sky with grace.

Situated in the Eastern Himalayas, in the range of Koshi Province, the main peak is over 22,000 feet high. And for those admirers of Everest, it is possible to witness impeccable views of the iconic mountain from Ama Dablam.

In this portrait of Ama Dablam by Nick Meek, a tender bruise of magenta and fuchsia colour shadows the base of this Nepalese mountain. It contrasts beautifully with the pale and gentle blue hues of the Nepalese skyline.
